Fields on the controlled requalifications batch screen
When you start a new requalification batch, you'll see a batch header. On the top line are the number QuickFill assigned to this batch and the date. Enter the number of requalifications in the batch on the second line, then either fill in or leave blank the remaining fields. Fill them in if they have a value that is common to all—or most—of the requalifications.
Requal source
Enter a requalification source code if all or most of the requalifications in the batch came from the same source. You can type in the correct code, or right click to get a list of requalification source codes from which to select.
Channel
Enter a channel code if all or most of the requalifications in the batch came from the same channel. You can type in the correct code, or right click to get a list of channel codes from which to select.
Service
Enter a service code if applicable or right click to select from a list of defined codes.
Request type
Right click to select a request type if all or most of the requalifications are the same type, say, personal direct written or association roster. If the requalifications are of many different request types, then leave this field blank and fill it in on the requalification form instead. (Click here for a list of request types.)
Once you have finished entering a requalification and have clicked on "OK," QuickFill returns you to the batch header form. The batch header now shows you a summary of the transaction(s) you've just entered on a line(s) on the bottom half of the screen. (You'll see the customer name, company or city and state, and zip code for each payment entered.) If the batch is balanced it will ask you if you want to post it.
