This report shows the number of transactions and updates processed in the current accounting period; it is similar to the transaction report that is created when you close an accounting period.
Report transaction counts by…
The 'By company' report shows the number of transactions and updates processed for the current accounting period sorted by company. The 'By publication and company' report shows the number of transactions and updates sorted by publication and company. (The 'By company' report and 'By publication and company' report also display a combined total for all companies.) The 'By user ID' report shows the number of transactions and updates sorted by QuickFill user name.
The 'Transaction counts' report logs one entry per publication for label, billing, and renewal updates as well as imports. Two entries are logged for the 'Transfer payment' transaction—one for the "from" order and one for the "to" order. When running the 'By company' or 'By publication and company' reports, transactions that are not associated with any one publication (that is, 'Merge duplicates', nonaudit 'Prospects', etc.) are reported at the end of the report under a heading of "Unknown company." In addition, address changes that involve multiple publications are reported only for the first publication.
Transaction date range
You can specify a transaction date range, within the current period, so that the report will only include transaction counts for the dates within that range.
You can also select the publications, companies, or users to be reported on by entering the publication codes, company codes, or user names in the filter fields; wild cards may also be used.
This report only shows you data for the current period. When you close a period (or year), QuickFill purges the batch reports from which the transaction counts are obtained. Therefore, transaction counts for prior periods are not available.
