The 'Customer Data' screen displays a customer's label image, phone, fax, email, and demographic data and allows you to copy this information from QuickFill and paste it into any other Windows application—provided it contains edit (cut, copy, paste, etc.) functions.
To display the 'Customer Data' screen, first use 'Lookup' to select the customer whose information you would like to display. (Click here for details on the lookup procedure.) Once the list of customers has been displayed and the cursor is on the specified customer, click on the "Customer Data" tool bar button (shown below).
You can either use your mouse or the "Copy…" buttons to copy information on this screen. If you want to send an email message to a customer, click on the "Send email" button and QuickFill will open a new message in your email program and enter the customer's email address in the "To:" field.
Note: using your mouse
If you want to use your mouse to copy information, you must first select the information by left clicking and dragging the cursor to highlight the information and then right clicking to select "Copy" from the 'Edit' menu. You can select and copy all of the information on the 'Customer Data' screen by right clicking, selecting "Select All," right clicking again, and selecting "Copy."
